Terroir: Langhe

Trifolau Giovanni and his dog, approaching the forest.

Since 2014, Langhe region has proudly stood as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, celebrated for its rolling hills, fertile soil, and deep cultural heritage.

Nestled in the heart of Piedmont in Northern Italy, the Langhe region is breathtakingly beautiful and rich in natural treasures.

This enchanting landscape is home to the Chiaro di Alba® white truffle, scientifically named Tuber Magnatum Pico. Revered as a one-of-a-kind delicacy, the Chiaro di Alba® is a treasure sought by gourmands around the world.

At the heart of it all lies Alba, the “white city”, from which our prized truffle takes its name. The region is also the birthplace of Italy’s prestigious Barolo, Nebbiolo, and Barbera wines—each a testament to the land’s generosity.
